We invite middle school and high school teachers to discuss strategies for integrating arts from across the Asian continent into classroom curricula. We will explore our new installation, Across Asia: Arts of Asia and the Islamic World, learn hands-on activities that connect to history curricula, and share strategies for using art objects as primary source material in the classroom.

This in-person workshop is specifically designed for middle school and high school history educators, although we welcome all teachers. The day will include collaborative discussions, art making, and a talk from one of Across Asia’s curators. Lunch will be provided for all attending teachers.
