The Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland (The LLF), the organization that saves lives through organ, eye and tissue donation in Maryland, and Councilman Leon Pinkett of the 7th District of Baltimore City, invites parents, children and members of the community to the 2nd annual Summers in the 7th Block Party on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 2 – 6 p.m. at the former Williams Pinderhughs Elementary School in Baltimore. As part of The Decision Project, an initiative focused on empowering individuals to make an educated and inspired decision about organ, eye and tissue donation, this educational, family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
Featuring live music, burgers, hotdogs, a moon bounce and many other activities for kids, and free blood pressure screenings, Zumba and aerobic dancing for adults, The Summers in the 7th Block Party is an event to bring the community together while learning about different ways to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The event will also feature two free giveaways: backpacks and school supplies for kids, as well as a produce giveaway (both while supplies last).
