Millions of Americans suffer from some type of mental health issue, and unfortunately, there's often a stigma associated with having such a condition. That's why the Stoop Storytelling Series is here to help bring awareness and shed light on the lives of those with a mental illness at this free event.
Join us on Tuesday, May 21 at 7 p.m. for a special discussion, "Out of Stigma’s Shadow: True, personal stories about mental health, mental illness, and the mysteries inside our heads." Seven speakers will share personal, inspirational, and honest stories related to mental health. Following their stories, an expert panel will offer additional insight into behavioral health issues, advances in treatment, and resources that help improve lives.
