In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the B&O is dedicating the entire holiday weekend to the story of civil rights and the railroad. From slavery to the civil rights era and beyond, African Americans and the railroad share a deeply interconnected history. On this special weekend, we wish to share that history with you.
Including a special tour highlighting African American contributions to the railroad, kids workshops, story readings from Charm City Books, and a performance from Baltimore's Union Baptist Church Choir. For a full schedule, visit http://www.borail.org//Calendar.
The B&O Railroad Museum is located at 901 W Pratt St, Baltimore, MD 21223 and is open Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. For more information, please call 410-752-2490 or visit www.borail.org
