Join Mixolo: Baltimore Farmers Market Cook-off With Chef Egg

Been meaning to try the acclaimed Baltimore Farmers' Market and Bazaar under the JFX bridge? You can go with us!

 

Join Baltimore's own Chef Egg at the Baltimore Farmers Market and Bazaar the first Sunday of every month for a unique cooking "eggsperience." Join Mixolo on June 2! The chef will take you on a quick tour of the market to visit local producers and makers. Then you will prepare easy recipes made with farm fresh ingredients from the market. Chef Egg's Cook-off is solo and family-friendly. Feel free to bring family members or team up with your adventurous "solo-mates." Chef Egg can help you succeed in the kitchen and lead a healthier lifestyle.

 

Mixolo members may register in advance to maximize participation, but registration is not required for this event also open to the public. Free snacks will be served, but plan for self-pay for personal shopping and beverages. Bring your reusable grocery bags!

 

ABOUT THE MARKET

 

Every Sunday underneath the Jones Falls Expressway at Holliday & Saratoga streets from Sunday, April 7-Sunday, December 22, 2019, Maryland’s largest producers-only market, the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar offers an assortment of fruits and vegetables, dairy, meats and seafood, breads, plants and delicious made-to-order items, in addition to handmade clothing & accessories, natural bath & body products, home furnishings, souvenirs and original works of art.

 

ABOUT CHEF EGG:

 

Chef Egg has taken the interactive cooking experience to exciting new levels with Chef Egg Live and his widely followed online and on-air demonstrations. You’ve probably seen him in the news or enjoyed one of his dynamic cooking classes. Chef Egg's classes are a Mixolo favorite!

Parking:

 

Street parking is available around the market. Some meters will be in effect.

 

Compliments of Mercy Medical Center, patrons are also able to park for free in the Mary Catherine Bunting Garage, located at 330 Guilford Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21202, for two hours (maximum) from 7am-noon. Vehicles enter through the Pleasant Street entrance and bring their ticket to the Welcome Tent to get validated. There is an attendant in the cashiers' booth 24 hours/7 days a week who will take the validated ticket.

 

Animals:

 

NO ANIMALS are allowed at the market and bazaar (per Baltimore City Health Department Rules and Regulations).
