http://www.stmartinsannapolis.org/iconsAs part of the free ICONS in Transformation art exhibit, St. Martin’s is also hosting a special concert with pianist Thomas Keesecker on Wednesday, May 10 at 7 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public. His arrangements of Christian hymns and insightful theological reflections will be music to your ears!
Thomas retired in 2019 after serving as a church musician for over 40 years in Lutheran and Roman Catholic parishes in Virginia, Montana, and Maryland. He studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and the Catholic University School of Music in Washington, D.C. In his retirement he travels the country sharing his piano collections in informal recitals which incorporate hymn singing, readings, and poetry.
While at St. Martin’s, be sure to explore the free contemporary art exhibit ICONS in Transformation; all artist’s proceeds benefit Ukrainian refugees.
