The Baltimore Station will once again host its annual Homerun for Recovery fundraiser but this year’s event is going virtual. On Thursday, April 22 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, guests can experience concerts from the comfort of their own home while enjoying a curated menu including appetizers and cocktails from the 206 Restaurant Group, owners of Pratt Street Ale House, Oliver Brewing Company, The Ale House Columbia Five & Dime Ale House, Chesapeake Cider Company, Park Tavern and Donnelly’s Dockside. The concerts will feature local bands playing a mix of musical genres—Boot ‘N Rally (country), Midnite Run (classic rock), and Dat Feel Good (Motown). The menu will feature Nashville Chicken Pickup Sticks with Ranch Hot Honey Aioli, Buratta Caprese with Charred Tomatoes, Basil Infused Olive Oil & Balsamic Reduction, Birria “Rockuitos” with Guacamole Cream Sauce and Jambalaya Stuffed Roasted Jalapeno Peppers paired with craft cocktails such as Kentucky Mule, Blood Orange Crush and Cucumber Mint Fizz, which align with each of the concerts and featured genre.
Attendees and the general public can participate in an online silent auction that will feature packages such as accommodations in Ocean City, Deep Creek, and Rehoboth; an oyster and wine pairing experience; restaurant gift certificates; wine packages; and unique COVID-friendly experiences. All funds raised at the event will support the organization’s therapeutic residential and community-based outpatient treatment programs for veterans and others transitioning through the cycle of poverty, substance use disorder, and homelessness to self-sufficiency.
