American Campus Communities is proud to be the presenting sponsor of Hi, How Are You Day 2020 held at the award-winning ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, on January 22, 2020, to raise awareness about the importance of open dialogue on mental health features headliner Cage the Elephant.
Tickets for the concert are available at the ACL Live event page and all proceeds from the event will benefit the Hi, How Are You Project funding research, events, and creating comprehensive training programs. The Hi, How Are You Project is a nonprofit organization named after the work of the late artist and musician Daniel Johnston formed to educate people worldwide about the importance of open dialogue on mental health.
This celebration of the life and legacy of Johnston is both a tribute and a call to action to remove the stigma around mental health and to encourage conversations about well-being.
Grammy Award-winning rock band Cage the Elephant will be headlining, sharing the stage with other performers including White Denim, TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe, Jason Falkner, Katie Schecter, and other special guests to be announced soon.
AXS and Stingray will live stream the Hi, How Are You Day 2020 concert on both platforms to give people around the world the opportunity to witness this special event for free. To further encourage community and conversations around mental health with college students, American Campus Communities will host live-stream watch events at its communities on and near campuses across the country.
