October 3rd is FIRST FRIDAY, so we are releasing a new beer! It's the return of MY OWN MURDER (Black IPA with Ecuadorian Cacao Nibs and Sweet Orange Peel).  The Farm will be open from 4-9pm with this new release on draught and in cans. As an added bonus for the release, we will have Live Music with Tears for Devere.  They will be making their Manor Hill debut from 5-8pm in the Courtyard!  Manor Hill Pizza Trolley will be open with brick-oven Neapolitan pizzas, salads, snacks, novelty ice creams, and more.

More about the Beer: Returning just in time for Spooky Season is our Black IPA.  Named for the eerie and ominous band of crows who inhabit the farm, this brew takes inspiration from the classic cold weather treat, the chocolate orange, we added Ecuadorian cacao nibs in the mash and sweet orange peel in the boil. And for an extra citrus kick, we double dry hopped it with Mandarina Bavaria, Simcoe, and Columbus hops. The final beer pours opaque black with notes of dark chocolate and cocoa, followed by a touch of orange in the finish. The only trick to this incredibly drinkable treat is how well it disguises the 6.5% ABV.

More about the Farm & Taproom: We will be open all weekend (Fri 4-9, Sat 12-7, and Sun 12-7) with 13 farm-brewed beers (+ our hard seltzer) on draught and multiple options in cans available to go. All seating on the Farm is first come, first served. We have indoor seating, a large covered tent, and plenty of outdoor space to spread out. There are several picnic tables in our field, but we also encourage you to bring your own chairs or even a portable (10x10) pop-up tent for shade and find your new favorite spot with friends. While on the farm, feel free to wander around and meet our flock of egg-laying chickens and our pygmy goats (Mary & Gilbert)... and see if you can spot (from a safe distance) our herd of 20 Black Angus cattle in the pasture.
