Afterward, collect materials to make your own textile that reflects your personal growth and change. This lesson is inspired by the textiles on view in Latin American Art / Arte Latinoamericano, an installation of works from the museum’s collection of art from South, Central, and North America and the Caribbean, which opens on May 17.

Drop-in Art Making is a program where people of all ages and abilities can get creative and make a work of art inspired by our collection. Come with your family, friends, or on your own. Join us for a little while, or stay the whole time!
