About this Event
View mapHost: Chris "O-dubb" Pierce
Comedian and entertainer Chris "O-dubb" Pierce is hosting another night of hilarity with an excellent line up of funny people from all of the DMV. Cult Classic will be full of beer and laughter; what more could you want?
Opener: Jeff King
Jeff King grew up in the DC area, went to college, then spent a couple of years in the military where he gained some new components but retained what could be called a sunny outlook. After retiring, he moved to Baltimore upon retirement, got married, and has been performing stand-up comedy since 2019. He and his wife have a goofy Labrador named The Wudge.
Jeff enjoys talking about a number of topics from his oddball perspective. He hosts an open mic in Baltimore at Zen West Cantina and has performed comedy throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Special Guest: Bill Monaghan
Hailing from the People’s Republic of Annapolis Maryland, Bill has been honing his comedic chops since 2006, performing at such esteemed venues as Magoobys Joke House, Baltimore Comedy Factory, Arlington/DC Drafthouse, DC Improv and The Opie and Anthony Show on SiriusXM satellite radio. He may possibly be the most immature mature person you’ll ever encounter. His absurd, one-liner style is “Rated R” due to strong language, adult situations, and brief nudity. You’ll be fine. Don’t be a prude.
Featured Comic: John Dayton
John Dayton is an up and coming stand up comedian, local to the salisbury maryland area where much like himself the comedy scene is growing. Johns larger than life personality, and ability to hold people's attention makes for a great young comedian. John combines his story telling abilities with observational and situational humor to ensure youll either feel bad for him or idolize him by the end of his set. John has hosted, guest spotted, featured and headlined in shows up and down the east coast and currently runs the open mic in salisbury at roadie joes for Big Timing Comedy. He has worked with comics such as mark Normand and Rob Mahr. This young comic should be on your list of comedians to keep an eye out for.
Kandace Saunders made her comedic debut in 2006 during a comedy competition at the DC Improv. Although, she didn’t win, she didn’t get booed, and people laughed. So for Kandace, that was enough to pursue a career in standup comedy. Kandace’s sarcasm, and quick wit, coupled with her ability to turn life into “extremely laughable situations”, has allowed her to become one of today’s fastest rising comedians. You can catch Kandace at comedy clubs and colleges across the country.
