Ms. Lee will share insights into her storied career and the many obstacles she faced as a Black woman executive. She will be joined in conversation by Glory Edim, founder of Well-Read Black Girl, a nationwide book club-turned-literacy non-profit.
Debra Lee is the former CEO of BET, where she served for over thirteen years. She is the founder and chair of Leading Women Defined Foundation and the co-founder of the women's mentoring group Monarchs Collective. She serves as a director on the boards of Warner Bros. Discovery, Marriott International, and Procter & Gamble.
Glory Edim is the founder of the book club-turned-literacy non-profit Well-Read Black Girl. She is the author of the anthology, Well-Read Black Girl: Finding Our Stories, Discovering Ourselves.
