The 2019 Strawberry Festival at Roland Park Presbyterian Church
Welcoming Spring and Neighbors in Roland Park
Roland Park Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce that the 2019 Strawberry Festival, a tradition since the early 1900s, will be held Saturday, May 11th from 10 am to 2 pm on Upland Avenue adjacent to Roland Park Presbyterian Church.
Admission is free. There is non-stop fun for kids of all ages including carnival games and a moon bounce. Shopaholics can peruse silent auction, jewelry, and flea market tables. Gardeners will love the fresh flowers and plants for sale. Fresh strawberries will be available in addition to hamburgers, hot dogs, and many other tasty treats.
“This springtime tradition is our way of welcoming everyone and being a good neighbor in the community. We are especially happy to be utilizing our newly renovated building to its fullest potential. We love being a place where the community can come together,” said Rev. Mark W. Hanna, Pastor of Roland Park Presbyterian Church. Traditionally, anywhere between 200-400 people attend the church’s Strawberry Festival, however the event was on hiatus for the past two years while the church prepared for and underwent extensive renovations to become ADA compliant. The exterior and interior church spaces are now fully accessible to all and will be utilized for this year’s Strawberry Festival.
The event will take place come rain or shine and the sanctuary will remain open all day for rest and reflection. Proceeds go to support mission partners of Roland Park Presbyterian Church. All are welcome. For information regarding the 2019 Strawberry Festival visit www.RolandParkChurch.org /serve/strawberry-festival/ or Facebook www.facebook.com/RolandParkPC.
