Journey Mindfulness is offering the classic Mindfulness Based Based Stress Reduction 8 Week Course Thursdays at the Westchester Community Center in Ellicott City this September 5th, from 6:30-9:00pm. The course is open to those seeking deeper connection withing themselves and others, reducing stress, chronic pain, and increasing well-being. The course cultivates mindfulness practices such as the body scan, gentle yoga/movement, and sitting meditation. Taught by Jim O'Neill, LCPC, CPT, a Qualified Teacher of MBSR from the UCSD Center for Mindfulness.
