MCYO’s orchestras and ensembles come together in their season finale concerts. Regarded as one of the country’s most outstanding youth orchestra programs, MCYO’s over 500 musicians represent artistic integrity of the highest level.

This matinee performance includes pieces by Beethoven, Dvořák, Musella, and Rimsky-Korsakov performed by MCYO’s Young Artists. MCYO’s Chamber Ensemble rounds out the program with Vivaldi’s “Spring and Summer” from The Four Seasons and Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances.

MCYO’s Symphony performs “Largo” from Dvořák’s Symphony No. 8, Ponchielli’s Dance of the Hours, and “The Blue Danube” by Strauss. The Philharmonic performs Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld and Suite No. 2 from Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet.
