https://www.mixolo.io/events/farm-to-table-irl-join-mixolo-at-the-farm-day-collaborative-at-star-bright-farm ##mixolo #gosoloJoin Mixolo, with or without a plus-one, for a day off the grid and out on the farm at Star Bright Farm, a family-owned and run 130-acre organic farm in the rolling hills of White Hall, MD. You can find this oasis only 45 minutes north of Baltimore in northeast Baltimore County near the Harford County line.
Star Bright Farm is collaborating with its restaurant partners, The Food Market and it’s sister establishment, La Food Marketa, as they all come together under the same sky, along with Diamondback Brewing Company, newcomers and other local farmers, chefs and brewers to celebrate the harvest season with a field-to-table meal with fresh eats and brews inspired by fall’s harvests.
Coffee brews from truly off-the-grid mobile cafe, Park and Perk, will help keep you warm. Expect local artisans and live music - and heaters - for an even warmer welcome.
Mixolo will be setting aside some community space for the solo trekkers to find other like-minded IRL (in real life) farm-to-table enthusiasts who might want a shared experience during their visit. Don’t hold back. You don’t need a plus-one to find your fun.
We love bringing you getaways not too far away at welcoming places like Star Bright Farm. This community gathering of families, friends, and strangers (just friends you have not met yet) is perfect for our adventurous solos who want to get out and meet others on common ground.
ABOUT OUR VENUE:
Star Bright wants to show you a Sunday in the country. It’s not us vs. them with Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. This collective spirit clearly embraced by the founders of Star Bright Farm is meant to sustain the land and ties that bind us. You’ll get to meet the farmers and hear more about their 25-year journey of love to creating a working, welcoming farm and their eco-responsible approach to the caring and keeping of their land. They are well known far and wide for their breathtaking lavender crops.
