The Maryland Center for the Arts (MCA) is hosting its inaugural Bear Legacy Bluegrass Festival! The event begins on Friday with Amateur bands followed by fan favorites Free Range Blue and Kendall Street Co. Saturday will feature popular local bluegrass artists: Caleb Stone, Kendall Street Company, Free Range Blue, Charm City Junction, The Jacob's Ferry Stragglers, The High & Wides, and The Dirty Grass Players.
Located at the site of the future Maryland Center for the Arts, this event will feature an amateur band competition, great food, and a beer service beginning at 5pm on Friday and 1pm on Saturday. Funds raised will support the creation of a full-scale regional arts center!
Tickets to the event must be purchased in advance. A two-day ticket is available for $80, a Friday evening ticket is available for $40, and an all-day Saturday ticket is available $60. Children 12 years old and under permitted for free
