To commemorate the upcoming summer season, Hotel Revival, a Joie de Vivre hotel located in the heart of Baltimore’s historic Mount Vernon neighborhood, and B.Willow, a retail and workshop organization that serves to provide meaningful, insightful and beneficial ways of experiencing nature on a frequent basis, invite guests to the hotel’s rooftop Garden Room to sip on flora-inspired cocktails and learn about extreme plants of the desert as part of its ongoing partnership.
The upcoming workshop titled, “Xerophytes: Extreme Plants of The Desert,” will take place on Thursday, June 6 at 7:00 p.m. Liz Vayda and Zach Wimberly of B.Willow will educate guests on unique varieties of plants that have evolved to thrive in some of the most extreme areas of the world: our deserts. From ancient fossils with no living relatives, to the tiniest cactus in the world, this workshop will provide guests with a new understanding and appreciation for desert life. Additionally, a selection of different cacti and succulents will be offered to guests as a takeaway.
The cost for the workshop is $45 per person, which includes two hand crafted cocktails from Topside and a takeaway. To reserve a spot in the June workshop through Eventbrite, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/flora-xerophytes-extreme-plants-of-the-desert-tickets-61837501632.
B.Willow will host their third flora-inspired workshop series of 2019 at Hotel Revival on August 1.
